Like many people I have been a little irritated about some of the poor design choices in the new Gmail Compose interface. I wrote about two particularly odd choices for a post on the interactions blog. There are more design oddities that I am sure others will enumerate. The most humorous account so far about the launch is this one from Oliver Burkeman of The Guardian in the UK. He focuses more on the way in which these launches get narrated in general. Well worth a read.
