Publications

As an applied scientist, my research focuses on principled interactive technology design and evaluation, and on the development of innovative design methods.I have co-edited several research texts, and have authored/co-authored a number of peer reviewed papers (journal, conference and workshop) and book chapters in the areas of social media, theoretical and applied psychology (implicit learning, tacit knowledge), theory and design, design ethnography, computer-based learning, cognitive science, cognitive ergonomics, human computer interaction (HCI), computer supported cooperative work (CSCW), pervasive/ubiquitous computing, collaborative virtual environments and virtual reality.

I have also edited several journal and magazine special issues and edited conference proceedings. Some of my publications are listed below.
